FTRC is looking to hire a Research Consultant to join our Team.
We are seeking an experienced individual from an advisory business who wants to develop their understanding of the UK and global advice and FinTech markets and work towards a career in becoming an industry leader in this field.
We are eager to hear from Paraplanners or Operations Managers who are keen on finding an alternative career path. The individual must be passionate about business operations, procedures and processes and advice technology.

We believe this is an amazing opportunity for someone who has:
- A background in financial planning, with a sound understanding of wealth management and pension advice processes.
- A clear understanding of what advisers need to keep customers happy and meet regulatory obligations.
- Extensive experience of using adviser software planning systems e.g. client management systems, client portals, cashflow planning tools, risk profilers etc and has strong views on what vendors need to develop and improve upon.
- A deep understanding of how adviser business operate e.g. how advice is delivered, business processes needed to support the advisers and the technology that underpins all of this.

This is a fully remote role, predominantly working from home although occasionally will need to visit client sites and attend team meetings. Suitable candidates should be able to get to London within 3 hours. Salary will be based upon level of experience.
